A New Site for SPH Properties UK
SPH Properties UK helps people buy, sell and let homes and commercial property in the UK.
What does a buyer see when they ask an AI assistant where to find a period home in the Cotswolds or a mews house in London? If the site does not say in plain words what the firm does and where it works, the assistant has nothing to quote.
We spoke with the founder of SPH Properties UK about who the firm serves, why the new site was built, what it answers before a client gets in touch, and what it runs on.
The site was built in July 2026. Here is the interview.

Ravenence: How did SPH Properties UK start, and who works with you today? It helps to know who your clients are before we talk about the site.
Founder: We help three kinds of client. Buyers looking for their next home, sellers who want a careful sale, and landlords who want their property let and looked after.
The site is built around the regions we focus on: London, the Cotswolds, Surrey and the Swiss Alps. It covers period homes, mews houses, cottages, penthouses, farmhouses and chalets.

Ravenence: What made you decide to build a new website, and what did it need to do?
Founder: We wanted one place where a client could do everything. Search for a home, see it on a map, ask what their own home is worth, or send a private enquiry.
It also had to feel calm and well made. People choosing a home at this level judge the firm by the first page they see.
Ravenence: What do clients usually ask before they get in touch? Which of those questions did the new site need to answer?
Founder: Clients ask the same few things. What is for sale in the area I want? Where exactly is it? What is my own home worth? How do I speak to someone in confidence?
The site answers each one with a tool rather than a paragraph.
- Search: buy or rent, with quick searches for London, the Cotswolds and Surrey, and browsing by type of home.
- Map: listings shown on Google Maps, so a client sees where a home sits before asking about it.
- Valuation: a form to book a professional valuation of their own home.
- Enquiry: a confidential enquiry form that goes straight to the team.
Ravenence: What does the new site run on? It's useful for readers who are weighing up a build of their own.
Founder: It is a Next.js site, written in TypeScript and hosted on Vercel.
- Search, property pages, offices, valuation and enquiry all work as views inside one fast page, so moving between them feels instant.
- Google Maps shows listings on a live map. If the map service is ever unavailable, the site shows a simple map grid instead of a blank space.
- The header turns into a menu drawer on phones, and every view works at phone width.
- Property details and insights sit in their own data file, apart from the page code.
Ravenence: What has changed since the new site went live? We'd love to hear what clients have noticed.
Founder: Clients can now do the first steps on their own, at any hour.
- Searching: they filter by place and type of home and see results on the map.
- Valuing: they book a valuation without having to call first.
- Asking: private questions come in through one confidential form.
Ravenence turned a long list of ideas into one clear portal. Every view was explained before it went live.
Ravenence: If readers want to learn more about SPH Properties UK, where should they go?
Founder: Our website has the search, the map and the valuation form, and every enquiry form reaches the team directly.
