A New Shop for Al-Shifaa Remedies

Al-Shifaa Remedies sells black seed honey and black seed oil online from the UK. Its site credits Ravenence in the footer.

Someone buying a wellness product online wants to know what is in the bottle, how to use it, and when it will arrive. If the shop does not answer those questions clearly, they close the tab.

We spoke with the owner of Al-Shifaa Remedies about who buys from the shop, why it was built, what it answers before someone orders, and what it runs on.

The shop was built in February 2026. Here is the interview.

Ravenence: How did Al-Shifaa Remedies start, and who buys from you today? It helps to know who your customers are before we talk about the site.

Owner: We make two products from black seed: raw honey infused with black seed, and cold-pressed black seed oil.

Our customers are people who value traditional remedies and want a pure product they can trust. We ship from the UK to customers abroad as well.

Ravenence: What made you decide to build a new website, and what did it need to do?

Owner: We wanted our own shop, where customers buy directly from us.

It had to feel as careful as the products, and we needed to run it ourselves: orders, stock, discount codes and all.

Ravenence: What do customers usually ask before they buy? Which of those questions did the new site need to answer?

Owner: Customers ask what is in each product, how to use it, how long delivery takes and what happens if something goes wrong.

The concierge page answers each of those in one place.

  • Delivery: the dispatch steps, from order to arrival, and the couriers we use.
  • Returns: how returns and service work.
  • Usage: a usage FAQ.
  • A person: a form to ask our specialist a question directly.

Every page also carries a clear note that the products are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease.

Ravenence: What does the new site run on? It's useful for readers who are weighing up a build of their own.

Owner: It is a React shop with a database and card payments behind it.

Pages:

  • A home page, the shop, a page for each product, and the concierge page.
  • A wishlist, a cart and a checkout.
  • A sign-in, and an admin dashboard for us.

Behind the site:

  • Vite, React and TypeScript.
  • Stripe for card payments, with the payment set up on the server.
  • Supabase for products, orders, discount codes, customer profiles and shop settings.
  • An admin dashboard where we manage orders, products, stock, discount codes and settings, see sales figures, and export orders and newsletter sign-ups.
  • A contact form for the specialist, sent by email.

Ravenence: What has changed since the new site went live? We'd love to hear what customers have noticed.

Owner: We now sell directly and run the shop ourselves.

  • Buying: customers choose a product and size, and pay by card in a few steps.
  • Questions: delivery, returns and usage are answered before anyone has to ask.
  • Running the shop: orders, stock and discount codes are managed from one dashboard.

Ravenence built a shop that feels as careful as our products, and a dashboard we run ourselves.

Ravenence: If readers want to learn more about Al-Shifaa Remedies, where should they go?

Owner: Our website has both products, the concierge page and a form to reach our specialist.
