A Next.js Site for Vitesse Supercars

Vitesse Supercars is a luxury supercar hire company in Leeds, UK. Its site credits Ravenence in the footer, and its owner reviewed the build on Clutch.

What does a customer see when they ask an AI assistant which supercar hire company to choose? If the answer is not on your site in plain words, the assistant has nothing to quote, and the customer books with whoever it can.

We spoke with Rashid Shazad, who owns Vitesse Supercars, about who books with the company, why the site was rebuilt, what it answers before a customer picks up the phone, and what it runs on.

Here is the interview.

Ravenence: How did Vitesse Supercars start, and who books with you today? It helps to know who your customers are before we talk about the site.

Rashid: We are a luxury and supercar hire company based in Leeds, with a team of between 11 and 50 people.

Customers book a car to drive themselves, such as a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, a McLaren or a Rolls-Royce. They also book a chauffeur, a wedding car, a corporate or events booking, a VIP transfer or group travel.

We deliver across the UK, free within 30 miles of Leeds, so many customers meet us on the website before they ever speak to us.

Ravenence: What made you decide to rebuild the website, and what was the old site getting wrong?

Rashid: We wanted the site to match the cars. A customer spending this much on a hire expects the website to feel as polished as the vehicle that turns up.

We also wanted it fast and easy to find. The brief was a Next.js site, built so search engines and AI assistants can read every car, brand and service page, with a chatbot that could answer questions at any hour.

Ravenence: What do customers usually ask before they book? Which of those questions did the new site need to answer?

Rashid: Customers ask about the basics first. How much does it cost, and what is included? Do I need special insurance? Where do you deliver? What do I need to bring to hire a car?

Each one now has a written answer on the home page, and the service pages carry their own questions.

A customer who asks something the page does not cover can put it to the chatbot, which looks up the fleet and offers the booking form once they are ready.

Ravenence: What does the new site run on? It's useful for readers who are weighing up a rebuild of their own.

Rashid: It is a Next.js site, built page by page so every car and every service has its own address.

Pages:

  • Hire categories, such as supercars, luxury 4x4s and Rolls-Royce wedding cars, each listing its own cars.
  • A page for every car, and a page for every brand, so a search for one model lands on that model.
  • Service pages for chauffeur, wedding, corporate and events, VIP transfers and luxury car rental, each with its own questions and answers.

Behind the site:

  • Next.js and React, with fleet, categories and brands held in a database, so adding a car updates its pages and the sitemap.
  • Booking and enquiry forms that save every request and send an email notification, plus a chatbot that can open a booking form inside the conversation.

Ravenence: What has changed since the new site went live? We'd love to hear what customers have noticed.

Rashid: The biggest change is that the site feels quick and finished, and the chatbot takes a lot of routine questions off the team.

  • Speed: the site loads faster and performs better than before.
  • Questions: the chatbot answers customers' queries, so the team spends less time on repeat questions.
  • Brand: the new design lifted how we look next to the cars we hire out.

The team at Ravenence was easy to work with throughout, and I would happily recommend them.

Ravenence: If readers want to learn more about Vitesse Supercars, where should they go?

Rashid: Our website has the fleet, the services and the booking forms, and the chatbot can answer questions straight away. Anyone who wants to hire a car can book from the site or send an enquiry.
